This has been Life as we know it for a couple of years now. Jeremy working out of town all last year was difficult. A job that was supposed to take 3 months ended up taking 1 year to complete. That was challenging for our little family. Brae cried every night missing her Dad. Then it was sad to me when she didn't cry anymore because he was always gone and she became accustomed to his absence. But then we were spoiled for the past 3 months to have him home and even though he drove long distances back and forth he came home every night. But now he started a new project that will require him to not be home as much as we would like. But he is home more often and we get to see him more than just 7 days out of the month.
Brae puts Jeremy on speaker and we talk him together unless they have a secret then she turns it off. Like this past Monday. He was supposed to be out of town and surprised me and came home lat Monday. Brae knew all along.
