Young Women's Christmas Party

 Brae and her Aunt Nessa

 Brae is the luckiest girl.

I am in YW Presidency and Jeremy has benn working in and out of town so Brae comes along with me.

She LOVES it!

She even participated in the White Elephant Gift Exchange.

All the girls love her and want her to sit by them!

 Brae opened a huge box then a smaller box

 down to her small gift which was an EASY BUTTON.

She loves it!

She comes into me and says Mom when you hear this button that means I'm done with cleaning my room.

She loves that she has like 20 big sisters. :)

Gingerbread Houses

 Braelyn loves to do stuff like this with other kids!

 Her friend Victoria came over to go out to eat with us

 and came back to make mini gingerbread houses.

 Then cousins came over.

Why Is IT?

AUG 2010

Why IS IT that on regular school days I can't get Brae up for the life of me.

7:15 comes and she cannot be wakened.

She always is tooooo tired and has to be threatened with having to walk her self to school.

 (3.5 miles away) 

  Yet on days like today,

NO SCHOOL DAYS she wakes up before I can wake her.

7:05.

I don't get it....



My Midnight Fairy

 Just in case you don't know what a midnight fairy is...

it is a fairy that creates stars.

Brae really got into her costume and told me how to paint her

face and everything.

It sure was cold out but Braelyn and Jeremy managed to

go door to door to fill up her purple jack-o-laturn.

So SPARKLY!

Brae loves to make any seasonal gingerbread house.

Mostly I think cause she knows she gets to eat the leftover candy!

 This mean ghost calls the home below.....

This is what watching General Conference looks like at OUR HOUSE

The General Authorities voices can be so relaxing.

 Some cuddling and LAUGHTER!

 And during a song maybe a ride....

until someone gets hurt.

Sometimes Jeremy likes to tease Brae until

she about cries.

She doesn't have anyone to tease her Jeremy

feels the need to do that.

So he pulled her around the house too fast and she

ran into a few walls.

But all in all WE LOVE CONFERENCE

at OUR HOUSE.

Snowflake Temple

My friend Jacque last summer had a picture on her blog of the temple looking so beautifully golden.

So I finally got my own picture this summer and I had my normal lens on and took a picture and went to run inside to get my telephoto lens and before I could get back it had stopped reflecting the sunset.

It reflects the sun just for a few minutes before it sets.

It is beautiful!

I am a bit behind on posting.

Brae's first day of school and this school year thus far has been fanatstical.

We Love her teacher!

I love to go in and help and Fridays I volunteer and teach the children something they can make for themselves.

They love it and I love to volunteer and see my little Brae!



Last Days of San Diego

Every year I take  a profile picture of Braelyn at the beach.

Her features are oh so slightly changing and she is turning into a beautiful young lady.

Even though it was over cast pretty much the whole time and on this particular day it was chilly we still had to have our last beach day.

MORMON BATALLION

located in Old Town San Diego

So glad we took a tour of the Mormon Batallion History Center.

They have redone the place and it is really cool.

We enjoyed it and at the end became Honorary Batallion Members.

They have a kids area in the back where they can PUMP FOR WATER......

WASH CLOTHING...

and PAN FOR GOLD.

ON OUR WAY  HOME....
after eating at Adam's Steak and Eggs. Of course.
It is a hole in the wall place where they serve the best cinnamon roll on the planet. Don't believe me go try it you will not be disappointed.
