SHOT BUDDIES

At my house if you even mention
SHOTS
Braelyn will begin to scream, cry and
then she will
HIDE.
And you know Braelyn, she is a quiet, sweet little girl.
This is what I deal with since Braelyn got
stitches.
When we go to the Doctor she even hates to be
weighed (I don't blame her there) but that is
where it begins.
Then when the Dr. comes in she begins to cry.
She won't even let him look in her ears
or listen to her lungs and heart.
Last time we went to the Dr. for her kindergarten
shots it took 3 of us to hold her and give her the shots.
She only got three that day and I would come back
for the last shot.
So today I decided to go to the clinic to get her last shot.
I didn't tell her where we were going until we were
leaving and she began to cry.
So SAD.
So she said, "Mom I want you to get a shot too."
I said we will see.
So we got there and it is mostly for children's vaccinations.
I asked if I could get a shot too.
They looked at me funny.
Braelyn was happy when they said yes.
But I had to pay $30.
So I had to run to the bank and get cash.
Come back and Braelyn and I became SHOT BUDDIES.
We even did a pinky shake.
What I wouldn't do for my
BRAELYN.
Tonight Brae says to me
"Mom I'm so proud of you. You didn't even cry."

Four Piggies and THE BIG BAD WOLF!

We were out looking for some new furniture when

Braelyn saw a variety of these hats.

Braelyn begged her Daddy for it and as always

he gave in.

I must say though it has gotten some great use.

Braelyn wears it on our campouts.

I like to scare little kids with it!

Our neighbors were over and Griffin put it on.

The kids went from one room to another running

away from him!

Then SOMEONE

always gets hurt then it is

movie time.

Camping Trip July 31st - Aug 2nd

This the first time for us to camp here.
We loved it.
Jeremy's Mom went scouting for a new place to go.
This was a perfect place for multiple camper/tents.
Perfect for our big family!
All the
GRAND KIDS

We were next to the water
so we got some little pool floats and the kids loved
going down the little rapids.
It was very shallow!
Jeremy still wanted to do it though.

Jeremy at the last little rapid.
The kids LOVED playing in the water!

They also caught lots of crawdads and some even
cooked and ate them.

Braelyn loved to fish.
It was the whole reeling it in
with her princess fishing pole.
Even though there was no hook on it.

Also there was a
HORSE SHOE TOURNAMENT.
My mother in law is laughing at me.
I am not exaggerating when I say it is dangerous
to watch me play.
The family all knows to scoot there chairs back.
I am terrible at horse shoes.
Jeremy and I were the first ones out.

I must explain this picture.
Jeremy's shoes got wet and he didn't have any other
shoes to wear except his boots.
So he just stayed near the camper cause he had no
shoes except his boots.
And he did NOT want to put those on.
Cause obviously he would look like a major redneck.
But he did anyway I talked him into it!
Jeremy serious about his horse shoe playing.

What's nice about having a camper is also being able to
go and watch a movie with her cousin Emery.

We had such a great time during the day in the water
and at night roasting marshmallows and talking over the
CAMPFIRE.

tOoTH fAiry

Braelyn has lost 2 teeth in the past
2 weeks.
The first one she was eating
cracklin oat bran and began to cough.
I knew it was her tooth.
She almost swallowed it!
The second one,
Jeremy tricked her into pulling it
herself.
If you knew how
much of a scaredy cat
she is,
you would know that was a big deal.
And the best thing is
that she believes in the
TOOTH FAIRY.
She asked before she went
to bed if the tooth fairy was a girl or boy,
how tall she is and of course
how much money would she be receiving.
