Thank goodness for dead FISH!

You are probably wondering why I would say thank goodness for dead fish. Braelyn in sunbeams received a goldfish when they learned how God created fish. So this has been quite fun for Braelyn. Well the fish she received died so she asked where it was going when I took it out of the tank and I told her down the toilet. She flipped out and said no please don't flush my fish. So I said OK. So she asked where are you going to take the fish again. I knew she probably would get upset if she knew I was going to put it in the trash so I told her that the fish would be going to heaven. She repeated what I said. Heaven? She asked is that a person or a place? I said place. She still seemed confused and seemed not to get it. Well anyways we bought more little goldies and since then another has died today. So she saw it this morning floating and she woke me up and said" Mommy another fish needs to go to heaven will you take it there" So I said yes well I went into the bathroom and she asked again "Are you taking the fish to Heaven or Kevin? " Igot a little frustrated and I said a little short. " HEAVEN, not Kevin" I said "Do you know Heavenly Father?" and she said " yes Jesus' daddy" I said "Heaven is where they live". She FINALLY got it. Eventhough I have explained it hundred of times she GOT it. I am learning now that Braelyn needs to experience things to understand them so thank goodness for dead fish.

Bad News For Jeremy

Jeremy and I have set a goal to run a half marathon at Disney World in Jan 2009. Jeremy bought me a treadmill so I could begin training now for it and I have been telling Jeremy he should probably begin running too but he says he will wait til closer to the marathon. He said, "Don't be mad when I leave you behind." I said we will see. We were talking to a friend the other day and Jeremy was saying how hard could it possibly be to run a half marathon and I said it's 13 miles long and you need to train so you don't injure yourself. He said " what? 13 miles." I said "Yes 13 miles, how long did you think it was" He said, " 3 miles". He thought a full marathon was 6 miles. So now Jeremy is going to start training now. He probably knows I will be leaving him behind otherwise. Good thing he didn't find out that whole length of the race thing on the day of the race.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAELYN DEAR!!!!! We had Braelyn's 4th birthday last week. She had two of her friends come over Brynlee and Cassidy. They had a fun time. She is growing up so fast can hardly believe it. Braelyn is a funny little girl. She is loving school, sunbeams and tumbling. She is so sweet!

This is in Cabo, we just got done from scuba diving hence why I am wearing a hat and no makeup and we were going back to the ship and Jeremy saw this baby tiger. Jeremy really wanted to hold the baby tiger and when he found out he could he was super excited. Who would of thought Jeremy liked tigers so much.

Our Mexico Cruise December 2007

I was trying to think of anything interesting we have done in this past year because if you know us we are pretty uneventful people. But Jeremy's Mom took her kids on a Mexico Cruise which was fun. We missed Braelyn a whole lot but knew she was in good hands with my Mom and so that was a treat for Braelyn and for Grandma. And us too!

First Blog

I have been wanting to set up a blog forever especially after seeing and visiting my friends blogs weekly. So I am going to give this a go and put some pictures up. So come back soon!
